The Adjustable VAST Satellite Dish Tripod provides a stable, portable mounting solution for compatible 80cm satellite dishes.

Made from galvanised steel, the tripod features a built-in spirit level, individually adjustable legs and a carry bag, making it ideal for caravan, camping and portable VAST satellite TV installations.

The adjustable legs allow the tripod to be levelled on uneven ground, making satellite dish setup considerably easier.

Adjustable Legs for Uneven Ground

One of the main advantages of this tripod is that each leg can be adjusted independently.

Getting the tripod level makes the subsequent satellite dish alignment process much easier.

Built-In Spirit Level

The integrated spirit level provides a convenient reference for levelling the tripod.

A level base is important because satellite dish elevation settings are normally measured relative to the mounting arrangement.

The spirit level doesn't find the satellite for you, but it provides a useful starting point before setting the dish's elevation and azimuth.

For accurate final alignment, use a suitable satellite finder/meter or the signal-strength information from the satellite receiver.

Galvanised Steel Construction

The tripod is manufactured from galvanised steel, providing a robust mounting structure suitable for outdoor use.

Galvanisation helps protect the steel from corrosion and is particularly useful for equipment that will be used outdoors.

However, as with any portable outdoor equipment, the tripod should be stored appropriately when not in use, particularly in harsh coastal environments.

Is this tripod suitable for caravans?

Yes. It is particularly suited to caravan and portable satellite TV installations.

Does the tripod include the satellite dish?

No. The tripod is supplied separately. The compatible satellite dish and LNB need to be purchased separately unless sold as part of a package.

Does it include a carry bag?

Does the tripod find the satellite?

No. The tripod provides a stable and level mounting platform. You'll still need to align the dish using the appropriate satellite direction, elevation and LNB skew.

Can I leave the tripod outside permanently?

It is designed as a portable mounting solution. For permanent installations, a properly installed pole, wall or other fixed satellite dish mount is generally more appropriate.
