Out of box this unit will be set to Al Jazeera, but since programming at the factory, this channel has changed frequency. 

Please press menu > highlight ‘CHANNEL LIST’ > press ‘OK’ > highlight ‘TV CHANNEL LIST' > Press 'OK’ > select Channel 2 ‘INFO’ > Then press exit until back to screen with the 2 signal bars. 

* Please note software versions can result in slight interface changes.

I owned one these marriage savers many years ago. It was foolproof and easy to use as it locked on to the channel (aljazeera) and the screen lit up showing strength and quality of the signal. Your photograph of the one one I recently purchased online shows a channel on the screen and this is misleading, inferring that it operates just like the digital signal finder that I had and used successfully many years ago. I had to contact your technical support team as I thought that the unit supplied was faulty but was told that is now how these new units are used and they talked me through the procedure. I believe that the instructions for use should clearly point out that you will NOT receive a channel on the screen with this unit.

I have just tried to use the satellite finder in Busselton and could not locate the Optus satellite. Fortunately I took my old satellite finder with me and was able to locate the Optus satellite on a help channel which unfortunately does not display a playing channel on the screen, however it still works. Prior to travelling to Busselton I contacted Access Antennas regarding the instructions with the new unit referring to Al-Jazeera channel. They advised me that these instructions had to be updated and provided instructions on that e-mail reply. These instructions refer to select the Info Channel from the channel list. There is no Info Channel on the channel list on my satellite finder. The channels are 0001 D3 Tune Chan 0002 TRT World 0003 Al Jazeera 0004 ABC 0005 ABC 0006 ABC NEW 0007 0008 ABC. I tried using the D3 TUNE CHAN but could not locate the Optus Satellite. This needs to be rectified or a full refund made. Looking forward to your comments.
